Welcome

Among our favorite monsters in art and folklore, the werewolf is only second to the vampire in terms of popularity. It seems that the belief in humans that turn into wild predatory animals exists in all major world cultures.

Although many of these myths and legends are interesting, there is no evidence to prove that werewolves do or have ever really existed. Many psychologists attribute this to the natural animal instinct that resides in the psyche of all men, an instinct that existed since the dawn of mankind.

Modern science believes that the stories may have come about as a result of the physical or mental characteristics of humans under the influence of real-life illnesses that made them look or act like wolves.

Monstrous.com is proud to share with you a vast amount of knowledge about these creatures and offer to join our community which has remained true to the therianthrope subculture since the beginning.
